Khalil Barbershop takes pride in providing the utmost customer care and making sure that every client sitting in the chair walks out feeling confident and happy. The barbershop’s owner, Mr. Hussam Ikkawi- commonly known as Sam, embraces this confidence by keeping up with all the new trends in hairstyling, while continuosly allowing himself and his employees to learn and advance their skills by going to hair shows frequently.
Every client leaves as a masterpiece, which makes the team at Khalil Barbershop artists. The barbershop staff provides a consultation with each and every client prior to making any changes to establish trust. Through verbal communication, a discussion arises of what the client desires and the technicalities that are determined by the shape of the head and face, and the type of hair being dealth with. Hussam first learned to barber through the teaching of his father and eldest brother in Beirut, Lebanon where his father, Khalil Ikkawi ran his barbershop. The family business flourished in the area, which allowed them to expand the business and open another location on the other side of the city to keep up with the flow of customers. In 1987, the family moved to Canada where Hussam decided to keep the family business alive by establishing Khalil Barbershop in 1990 in honour of his father.
Aside from work ethic, the foundation of Khalil Barbershop is ultimately built on the employees and the loyal clientele. Hussam takes more pride in his employees than he does himself because a business cannot solely depend on one man. It is crucial when employing a team that each member is not only skilled enough but are also as driven and exemplify the principle value of individual integrity to reflect and share too and with the team. Hussam pays forward his appreciation to the regular guest that confide in the barbershop’s work. Hussam hosts the barbershop as he would host guests into his home by offering beverages, keeping them entertained through casual conversation and providing professional personal care to each and everyone of his clients.

With every year that goes by, Khalil Barbershop increases in terms of numbers and the satisfied customers leaving the owner and employees amazed at the result of their Well-earned achievements and success!
